Meetings are held from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and will be held via Microsoft Teams.  Meeting links will be circulated with the monthly school and PAC newsletters as well as posted in the parents Facebook group. We hope you can join us!

All parents and guardians are encouraged to join the Tillicum Elementary School Parent Group at  This is a private group for parents and caregivers of current Tillicum students and is a great way to meet and connect with other families in our school community. Please note, there are two prerequisite questions that all members must complete before they are added to the group.

The Tillicum PAC has selected items with the school logo for our community to purchase. Follow the link to support this fundraiser and enjoy some school spirit.

FAIRWAY GIFT CARD PROGRAM – If you buy groceries, you can help us raise funds for Tillicum by using Fairway Market gift cards.  The process is simple – you get a Fairway gift card, load it at Fairway with as much or as little money as you like and then pay for your groceries with it.  5% of all purchases will be credited to the Tillicum PAC to help support field trips, cultural events, technology, library resources, sports day, playgrounds and so much more!  Please consider using a Fairway gift card for the benefit of all the kids!  The cards are available in the school office or contact the PAC and we’ll have a card sent home for you.  Thanks to everyone who has requested and are using the gift cards.  Each and every time you load it, your purchase is contributing towards much needed PAC funds.

BOTTLE DEPOT FUNDRAISER – Support our school by taking your empties to any of the following Bottle Depot / Return It locations around town – 4261 Glanford Avenue, 655 Queens Avenue or 3961 Quadra Street.  Advise the cashier at the BEGINNING of your transaction that you would like to donate your proceeds to the TILLICUM ELEMENTARY PAC and all refund proceeds will go directly to support our school.  Please feel free to share this information with our friends and family and encourage them to do the same!

EMILY PRESS LABELS – Emily Press are a small company out of Vancouver that create custom labels for kids (or really anyone trying to stay organized!). These are personalized name labels, and are super durable, dishwasher and laundry safe. Here’s how it works: whenever you, or anyone you send this fundraiser to, clicks on our special Tillicum fundraising link (or types it into their browser) and then makes a purchase at Emily Press Labels, the Tillicum PAC will receive 20% commission of the purchases (before tax and shipping)! Our fundraiser link can be used by anyone so let’s share it far and wide!

Please note that the link is case sensitive and must always be in lower case.

When you click on our link, a grey bar on the website that says “Tillicum School – Fundraiser” will show up at the top of the site. You can then click on “Shop For Labels” to peruse the options and make selections. Please note, if someone accidentally doesn’t come through our Tillicum link, they can always enter Tillicum School at checkout in the ‘Fundraiser’ box to be sure our PAC receives credit for the sale.

The PAC is beginning work on a legacy project to plant a Miyawaki forest on the Tillicum school grounds. This project will span the next couple of years and we are looking for interested volunteers to join our planning committee. If this is of interest to you, please contact the PAC at For more information on Miyawaki Forests, check out this video:

From time to time a concern may arise in our educational community.  To help resolve these issues, the Greater Victoria School District uses a complaint process to ensure that an individual’s concern will be given respectful attention while upholding the integrity of the education system.  This process uses clear procedures for the communication and resolution of any concern held by a member of our school community.  If you would like to review the Complaint Process for a Resolution of Concerns, you will find it here.  Alternatively, you can contact the Principal or Vice Principal and they would be happy to provide you with a copy.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding this matter.
